
Scott Telford
Scott Telford is CRAGSI’s co-founder, CFO, and managing director. Beyond his role on the core leadership team, he is involved in the firm’s consulting efforts in operational and capital restructuring for startup companies.
Scott has 20+ years of experience in analyzing and pricing companies and individual capital tranches based on a top-down basis, including evaluation of the broader industry, a company’s competitive positioning, operational structure and results, and capital structure, as well as on a fundamental, bottom-up basis.
He is in his third decade of managing special situations assets - providing valuations and helping to develop secondary market opportunities - including large positions in public securities, private placed debt and equity securities (including VC and PE), partnership interests, bankruptcy claims, structured fixed income assets, real estate, and other real assets.
Before co-founding CRAGSI, Scott spent 20 years as a research analyst and sector manager with J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s high yield platform. Over his career, he covered a range of industries.
Scott earned a B.S. in Finance from Miami University’s Farmer School of Business and became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charter holder in 2007.
